Evelyn Hooper, born May 16, 1926, Santa Clara, CA, passed away January 24, 2012.

Evelyn married the love of her life, Ralph Hooper, in 1945. Together they made their home in Los Altos, CA, where they raised their family and resided for 49 years before moving to Visalia, CA. Evelyn was a homemaker who enjoyed life, cooking, canning, and helping her husband tend a very large vegetable garden. In her later years in Visalia she spent countless hours making jewelry that she joyfully gave to friends and family.

Evelyn was preceded in passing by her husband of 58 years, Ralph Hooper, and her loving son, Ted Hooper. She is survived by her daughter, Dori Hooper of Visalia, Grandson, Eric Hooper, Eric's wife Adriana Hooper, and great grandchildren Akilles Hooper and Milah Hooper. It was Evelyn's joy to hold and meet for the first time, baby Milah, this past Christmas.

Mom, Grandma, Big Monny, you were very loved and will be deeply missed by all.

A Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Visalia District Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA.
